I was just told, by an actor who played the defendant in our murder trial, and has been doing so since 1977, that I conducted one of the best direct examinations he’s ever seen.

Have you guys read it yet? I started it right after my last final yesterday and I”m halfway through the second book. I just found out that the third one doesn’t come out until next year and it made me want to cry a little.
It might be a controversial opinion, but this is BETTER THAN THE HUNGER GAMES.

The consulting firm I’m working at is hiring a couple more clerks this summer so I posted the information on our school’s job listing website. The resumes and cover letters we’ve gotten are horrendous and it makes me sad. It’s awesome that you were an EXCELLENT TELLER AT A BANK and that you HAVE A PASSION FOR SECURITIES LAW, but we are a health care consulting firm, and you didn’t even mention an interest. Also, your cover letter is dated March 12th, 2012.
I feel like it reflects poorly on our school and on me for assuring the partners that our students would make excellent clerks here. I think it might have something to do with the fact that they only asked me to advertise these positions last week, and everybody already has their summer job by now, but really?
